What is The Most Difficult Language to Learn?

According to Fact Monster, "The most difficult language to learn is Basque, which is spoken in northwestern Spain and southwestern France. It is not related to any other language in the world. It has an extremely complicated word structure and vocabulary."

Common Expressions : As cool as a cucumber


The expression we'll look at this episode is : As cool as a cucumber
To be as cool as a cucumber is to be very calm, unruffled and in control of your feelings and emotions.
When everything seems to thumb down , you stay relaxed .. always as cool as a cucumber.
Somtimes, it means that you're doing well.
Let's see some examples :

Acts of Violence


Bully
If strong people "bully" a weaker person, the strong people hurt the weaker person emotionally or physically.
"They were bullying the new girl at school."


Choke
If A "chokes" B, A tries to stop B from breath ing by applying pressure to B's windpipe (the tube that takes air from your mouth into your body when you breathe) .
"She was so angry that she started to choke him!"


Elbow
To "elbow" someone means to use your elbows to hit someone or push them away from you .
"She elbowed the woman out ofthe way."


Intimidate
If A "intimidates" B, A uses his/her strength or power to frighten B.
"I felt intimated by him!"


Knee
If you "knee" someone, you bring your leg up in a quick motion so that your knee hits the other person.
"Mark showed Paul how to knee someone."


Poke (in the eye)
If A "pokes" B in the eye, A puts a finger in B's eye.
"He accidently poked me in the eye."


Shove / Push
If you "shove" someone, you use force to move them .
"I had to push and shove to get on the train."


Shout abuse
If someone "shouts abuse" at you, they speak loudly and angrily and say rude words.
"He was shouting abuse at us."


Stab
If A "stabs" B, A puts a knife into B.
"My friend was stabbed in the leg."


Strangle
lf A "strangles" B, A puts their hands around B's neck and applies pressure.
"She strangled me."

Slangs [Gírias]: CHILL

Slangs é uma linguagem de rua, gírias propriamente dito. Quem estuda inglês com certeza se deparou com alguma palavra que naquele momento não fazia sentido. Vamos ver alguns exemplos de Slangs com a palavra CHILL. Exemplos: Chill Out!, Let's chill, I'm Just chillin', He is chill, I'm chilly.

Lembrem-se que Slangs é totalmente informal, não é educado. É usado para conversar com amigos, conhecidos, etc.

Cuidado porque se for dizer ele é legal HE'S CHILL, Se for dizer Eu sou legal é I'M CHILLY.
